Another Look at the Tetons

We may not get another chance to go through the Tetons again before we leave so yesterday was probably the last trip. There were more fall colors to see and we wanted to see more wildlife, if possible. We also left later in the day thinking we might see more wildlife and also get some pictures with the afternoon shadows. The one major difference yesterday was seeing the buffalo return to the park. It made us happy to see them once again. Starting with this shot on the Gros Ventre road:

Then, there was this herd near the Mormon Road where the barns are located:

and, finally, as we were driving north on the main road through the park, this herd crossed the street in front of us:

Along with all the buffalo, we spotted this coyote that was walking toward one of the herds:

and these antelope that were grazing and resting along the roadside:

Our goal of capturing some of the beautiful Fall colors was dampened somewhat by the sun, which was low in the sky and impacted some of our shots. We did get some good ones, and a sample of those is below:

The next time we show photos of these beautiful mountains (hopefully) they will be full of snow.

There was still a bit of a haze, but we were pleased that we had such an eventful final trip through the area.

Today is a day of running some errands and starting to reorganize our fifth wheel for the exit from here. We may get a short drive in sometime during the day, but for the most part, our time in the Parks has about ended for this season...
