More Local Discoveries

We spent a good portion of the day going through the totes that we were given as we left class on Sunday. The bulk of the contents were supplies that we will be needing at some of the rides and attractions we will have on site. Some of the items were for our employees, such as aprons and hats:

We also went to the local grocery store - Vons - which is about 1.5 miles away. The ants problem is almost under control after we purchased a jug of Home Defense spray and sprayed all around the RV. We still have one location where they seem to be coming in and we hope to have that one fixed today. Of course, we will have to go through this same exercise when we move to our site inside the pumpkin patch next week.

Our day also included a stop at the local Sam's Club - 5 miles away - and our local laundry which is only 2 blocks from our pumpkin patch site.

In the meantime, we will try to enjoy the next few days at our current location before the real work begins...
