On a ho-hum college football day - as far as my interests go - the big story was in golf. One of the local teams lost - ASU to WA - and one local team won - U of A over Oregon State. As mentioned though, the FedexCup golf championship with the final tournament also being the Tour Championship is a huge surprise. Tiger Woods is back. He birdied six of the first seven holes yesterday to take a commanding lead in the tournament. He played like he did years ago when nobody could come close to matching his performance. One more round to go today and I see no pro that is capable of beating him right now for the Tour Championship, although Justin Rose will probably win the $10 million FedexCup which is based on a points system.
My sports weekend will also end today with the Cardinals playing the Bears and the Seahawks playing the Cowboys. Tough games for both teams.
Josie was not able to get her schedule changed from the 9 straight days of scheduled work. She is working again today and will not have a day off until Wednesday. Tough schedule...
