The NFL playoff picture is more clear today. The final four teams - those that will play for Divisional Championships - are now established. The Packers will play the Falcons next week for the NFC Championship, and the Patriots will play the Steelers next week for the AFC Championship. Frankly, there is no team to match up with the Patriots. There have been some great games though, and no matter what the matchups are, the quality of football is high. A dropped pass here or a penalty there can make a huge difference in the outcome of most of the games. It will be interesting to watch next weekend.
More lousy weather is forecast in the state today. I still would rather be here than in most other parts of the country as there are lots worse areas than Arizona. Ice storms, tornados, snow and freezing temperatures are the norm in most other places. Maybe this is a typical winter.
As we get closer to the Inauguration of Donald Trump, the Democrats just won't quit. The witch-hunt is still on, and some key Democrats think that somehow, they can change the results of the election. The claim that Russia helped determine the election outcome is outrageous, and I don't see the bad feelings going away anytime soon. It could be a long 4 years for our new President...
