All of the national attention is now focused on Washington DC for the Inauguration of our 45th President, Donald Trump. It does not appear to be the "smoothest" nor the "most patriotic" Inauguration ever, but the majority of Washington is still overflowing with joy. It's just a sad testimonial to see so many protests and to see just how divided our country has become. Watching the early activities this morning, I am astonished to see so many well known celebrities and other prominent Americans rejecting the process. For those opponents of the election results, it is time to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and become part of the solution instead of part of the problem. I hope that American pride returns over the next several years and that God graces the term of our new President.
The Inauguration activities are being well covered on TV by all of the networks. I plan to watch them this morning and into this afternoon. It's time to rally round the new President and begin the healing process in our country...
