Enjoying a Down Day

It was just one of those days that we anticipated - relaxing with nothing scheduled. The only thing we did of any consequence yesterday was drive to Fry's to do a bit of grocery shopping and that was the extent of our day. Every now and then, and following a stretch of long working days, it is nice to do nothing. We watched TV - The golf tournament and a couple westerns - and Josie did a little crocheting.

We are going to try a new church today - the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church - which is located in Peoria not too far from George and Cheryl's house. We contacted them and plan to meet for lunch following church at a nice place where we previously met for dinner a few months ago. We haven't seen them since Christmas dinner, so it will be nice to get together again. They will meet us following their church service at around 10:30 AM.

Today may bring a couple surprises as we plan to do something this afternoon that we haven't done in many years. Stay tuned...
