All is done, the car is loaded and we are ready to roll! We have a long day today - about 10 hours driving - to Amarillo, TX. We are sure glad we had the extra time to prepare as there are may things we could have forgotten, such as - the "Texas" clothes (cowboy boots/hats), the wine, the goodies for the room, good snacks for the drive, driving Atlas, book showing next exit for gas, all reservation material, etc. They are all loaded.

I'm not sure how much time we will have to do much of a blog for tomorrow, but we are leaving early so that we can arrive in Arlington at a decent hour to meet Patty and family.
