Sunday Breather

It was kind of a relief to have a day yesterday where we could do close to nothing except rest. We have been so busy with meetings and planning and trying to line up all of the ducks for a quick closing that it was a nice change.

We went to the store to pick up a few things in the morning and Josie did laundry in the afternoon while I watched the golf tournament. The tournament was one of those "filler" tournaments where the top golfers take the weekend off and the young, upstart pros get a chance to make some money. It was mostly boring watching a bunch of little known golfers play for a chance to become exempt from future qualifying for tournaments.

Today, we get back to business. Josie has her normal workday starting at 8 AM and I will try to get a commitment for a closing date. The appraisal is scheduled for today and that is the final step in the process to complete the mortgage package. I just hope that we can get a firm date for closing so that all of the other activities can be scheduled with certainty...
