The highlight of the day yesterday was the nice Thanksgiving meal that Amazon provided in the lunchroom for all employees. It was catered by Boston Markets and was very delicious. They even extended the lunch break by 15 minutes so that everybody had enough time to enjoy the meal.
The day was otherwise very intense, as usual, and we are both just really looking forward to getting off our feet for a few days after today. It was also the first day that all of us were on our own without coaching. Josie is still struggling - physically and mentally - and I have to say that I hope she can adjust and get into the flow soon. It is all we can do to get our ten hours in, get some sleep and do it all again. There isn't any time to do anything else on the days we have to work.
For some reason it didn't seem so tough on us before when we worked at Amazon in Campbellsville, KY. Maybe the 8 years since that experience have taken a toll on us. Like, maybe our age is finally trying to warn us to stay away from theses kinds of jobs....
